Our Mission
North Carolina Empowerment Organization is a 501c3 nonprofit founded upon the principle of advancing North Carolina and North Carolinians. We seek to empower North Carolinians to achieve social, educational, economic, and political self-determination through our pillars of civic engagement and education, mutual aid, and community investment.
Our Foundation
3 Foundational Pillars
Civic Engagement & Education: We will engage in nonpartisan community activities.To educate citizens on the roles of various governmental institutions and how to directly interface with these institutions.
Mutual Aid: Our mutual aid pillar is activated within mostly disenfranchised and marginalized communities throughout North Carolina. We understand the importance of pouring into the most unfunded and overlooked communities throughout North Carolina.
Community Investment: Our community investment pillar focus is geared towards reinvesting back into low-income communities and groups or communities that experience discrimination and exclusion because of unequal power across economic, environmental, social and cultural dimensions.
